Return & Exchange Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to all products purchased from Volcan Engineering (Pvt) Ltd through our website (volcanengineering.com), physical offices, or authorized sales representatives. It covers solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, accessories, and all other items listed in our product catalog.

2. Return Eligibility

We accept returns under the following conditions:

• Return request is made within 7 calendar days of delivery.
• The product is unused, uninstalled, and in its original factory packaging with all accessories, manuals, and labels intact.
• A valid proof of purchase (invoice, order confirmation, or receipt) is provided.
• The product serial number matches our sales records.

3. Defective & Damaged Products

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged during transit, or materially different from what was ordered:

• Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and a description of the defect.
• We will arrange a free pickup and replacement or issue a full refund including any shipping charges.
• Defective items are subject to inspection by our quality team before a replacement or refund is processed.

4. Non-Defective Returns

• Non-defective products may be returned within the 7-day window.
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
• A restocking fee of 10% of the product price will be deducted from the refund.
• Products must pass a quality inspection upon return to qualify for a refund.

5. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for a different product, variant, or capacity within the same 7-day return window. If the replacement item has a higher price, the difference will be charged. If lower, the balance will be refunded. Exchange requests are subject to product availability.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

• Custom-ordered or specially configured equipment (e.g., custom panel arrays, bespoke mounting structures).
• Products that have been installed, wired, or commissioned — these are covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
• Items showing signs of physical damage, misuse, or alteration by the buyer.
• Products returned without original packaging or proof of purchase.
• Clearance / final-sale items (marked as non-returnable at the time of sale).

7. Refund Process

• Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after the returned product passes inspection.
• Refunds are issued via the original payment method or bank transfer (JazzCash, Easypaisa, or bank account).
• You will receive a confirmation email or WhatsApp message once the refund has been initiated.

9. Warranty vs. Return Policy

This return policy is separate from product warranties. Solar panels, inverters, and batteries come with manufacturer warranties ranging from 5 to 25 years. For warranty claims on installed systems, please contact our after-sales support team directly.

10. Shipping for Returns

• Pakistan-wide: We arrange pickup for defective products at no cost. For non-defective returns, the buyer ships the product to our nearest office.
• Products must be packed securely in their original packaging to prevent transit damage.
• Volcan Engineering is not responsible for items damaged during return shipping due to improper packaging by the buyer.
